How We Work: From First Call to Finished Project

Hiring a contractor starts long before anyone picks up a tool. It starts with a phone call or a message — and with whether anyone actually gets back to you.

We've built our whole intake process around a simple promise: every inquiry gets a fast, tracked response. No voicemail black hole. No “we never got your message.” Here's exactly what happens when you reach out.

When You Call

Call us any time — even 9 p.m. on a Sunday. Nova, our phone receptionist, answers around the clock. During business hours she gets you to the right person on our team. After hours, she takes down your name, your project, and how to reach you — so a real person can call you back first thing, already knowing what you need.

Existing clients and commercial inquiries are routed straight to the team members who handle them, so you're never re-explaining your project to the wrong person.

When You Message or Request an Estimate

Prefer to write instead? Requests through our website land in the same tracked intake as our phone calls — nothing sits in an inbox nobody checks. You'll hear back within one business day.

The more you can tell us up front — your city, the type of project, a rough timeline — the more useful our first call back will be.

Nothing Falls Through the Cracks

Every call and message becomes a logged inquiry with notes attached. When we call you back, we're not asking you to repeat yourself — we already have your street, your project, and what you told us the first time.

It also means nothing gets lost between conversations. If you spoke with us three weeks ago about a kitchen and call back today, we pick up where we left off.

From Estimate to Schedule

Once we understand your project, we'll set up a site visit and follow up with a written estimate — scope, materials, and timeline in plain language, with no pressure attached.

When you're ready to move forward, you'll know exactly when work starts, who's showing up, and what happens first.

During the Work

Throughout the project you'll know who's on site, who to call with questions, and what's happening next. Clear scheduling and consistent follow-through are the two things our clients mention most in reviews — and the two things we protect hardest.

Why We Built It This Way

Contractors are notorious for not calling back — ask anyone who's tried to get a remodel quoted. We decided early that we'd rather invest in systems than become that story.

The tools handle the tracking so our team can focus on the work — and so you're never left wondering whether your message went anywhere.

The systems behind this page — our website, our local search presence, Nova, and our lead-intake workflow — were designed and implemented by Sunrise Digital Labs, who continue to operate and improve them with us. For the full technical story, read their NovaSac project case study.
